NEW LOOK PERCOL INSTANT WOWS CUSTOMERS

Award winning Fairtrade and organic coffee company Percol is launching a brand new design for its range of single origin instant coffees to match the Percol ground coffee range. The brand new bespoke jars with highly visual individually embossed lids stand out on-shelf and give consistency to the range.
The new jars feature a unique fully embossed colour coded lid subtly emblazoned with Percol’s brand messaging ‘Adventures in Coffee’. The design is unique to the country of origin bringing the geography and culture of Percol’s coffee producing countries authentically onto pack. Each 100g jar contains tasting notes, taking the coffee drinker on a taste experience to the country of origin and retails from £2.49. The new look packaging features on Percol’s single origin Colombia instant range which includes Fairtrade Colombia Instant, Decaffeinated Fairtrade Colombia Instant and Rainforest Organic Instant.
The changes will bring coherency to the Percol portfolio which also includes an interactive website making the all of the brand’s varieties instantly recognisable. To encourage customers to trial the different Percol coffees, Percol will be running an on-pack promotion on its ground coffee. Packs of Fairtrade Colombia roast and ground coffee will come with a FREE single serve stick of Percol Colombia Instant.
Percol’s instant coffees are made with the same finest Arabica beans which have won 22 awards for quality and taste in the last 5 years. In 2003 Percol became the first company to produce single-origin branded Fairtrade instant coffee with Fairtrade Colombia.

Percol has won more than any other coffee. In 2006 it won a Gold Great Taste Awards for its Fairtrade Organic Guatemala Ground and Rainforest Organic Mexico Ground, having already won 2 Golds for coffee in 2005. It also won Golds at the Soil Association’s Organic Food Awards in 2002 and 2003 and in 2006 Percol’s Americano ground coffee won Bronze.
